So, I don’t use the hibernation feature in Windows 10 and I want to reclaim some space. You want to also? Here’s how:
First, hit the Windows button on your keyboard or click on the “Start Button” and type in CMD. Right click and “Run as administrator”
Next up, type in powercfg -h off
This will disable hibernation and delete the hiber.sys file, freeing up your precious space!
If you want to turn it back on, repeat these steps and substitute off for on: powercfg -h on
