Is your Samsung Galaxy SIII (S3) not charging all of a sudden?  Black screen when plugged in?  Won’t turn on?  Before binning your device or investing in a new battery first try a different charger, then try the following:

• Remove the battery
• Hold power button for 15 seconds
• Leave the battery out for at least 24hours
• Re-insert battery and leave plugged in for at least 15 minutes

Make sure you follow those instructions, the last time I came across this I nearly threw the device away as I had missed one of the steps.
